Basic DSLR Class
The Objectives of this class is for the students to learn the basics of their DSLR camera so they can take amazing photos. New cameras have so many functions and capabilities. The best place to start is the “Camera Triangle.” Once you grasp an understanding of ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed, you will be able to unleash the power of your camera. Leaving the class with the ability to capture a picture of a lifetime.
There are so many factors that go into amazing photography. You will learn the foundation to photography, which will allow you to grow.

This DSLR camera class has two-parts, one in the classroom and a practical application portion in a field environment. The first class will be held on a Saturday morning in Anchorage, AK. 99508. This first part goes over camera theory with hands on training. It runs from 8AM-1PM with snacks provided.
There is some time between classes to give students time to practice what they learned with their DSLR camera prior to taking it out in the field. There will be a Facebook group chat incase there are questions for support from the instructors.
The second class will be on another Saturday in the afternoon at a location site in/near Anchorage to be determined by the students. The hands on portion will run from 2PM-6PM.
Suggested equipment to bring with you to both classes is a DSLR Camera, Lens(s), Tripod and a notebook. There will be handout materials as well as a beginners guide to photography that students will get to keep. Class cost is $275 per student with limited availability as the focus is on instructor to student ratio.
