At SSP Studio & Gallery, professional photographers offer hands on training classes to teach you how to use your camera. The current classes we offer are for:

• Advanced functions of using your DSLR camera and getting the most out of it.
• Using Adobe Lightroom to process your new pictures.
• Using Adobe Photoshop and gaining new skills to turn your picture into a work of art.

Our classes and workshops are conducted at our studio with our expert instructors. Whether you are a novice or professional we all have something to learn. Our all day workshops will have lunch catered as well as a field trip with hands on for that personal student/instructor experience.

We have interactive classes and workshops for every skill level. Whether you are an amateur who wants to get the best use out of your DSLR camera or a more advanced photographer looking learn techniques from professionals, we want to give you access to our experience and knowledge!

Basic classes will start with “camera triangle rule” on how exposure is determined by the three variables of aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Once you have this understanding, over or under exposed pictures will be a thing of the past!

Our intermediate and advanced classes will take you to the next level by transforming your pictures into art. Learning how the field of depth and different lenses work to get that picture perfect shot you had been hoping for.

After you take your pictures, they need to be processed. That is what Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop does for you. Taking the RAW data from the picture and manipulating that data will change the composite to a new, eye-opening experience. Your beautiful photographs can be altered to something beyond the realistic and into artistic vision.
