Talkeetna

The trip to Talkeetna has many great views along the way. But hold on to your camera because if Denali is “out” (due to making its own weather it is not always possible to see) you are in for one majestic view! Stops along the way will include Eklutna Trailrace and the community of Talkeetna. There are many beautiful mountain views along this trip. Plan on 12 hours for this tour. 

Weather

The weather in Alaska can be interesting at best. We have many microclimates and weather conditions can change rapidly! The weather will not stop our tours, however safety will! Temperatures can range from 50-70°F/10-21C and winds can be from a light breeze, to strong a gust. Rain is not a problem here as we get a lot of it throughout the summer months. The rain typically is a slow drizzle (similar to Seattle).

Accessibility

Most areas are wheelchair accessible with easy short walks on flat ground.

Refund Policy

$250 per person: This trip has a 2-person minimum. For a full refund, cancel with at least 24 hours notice. With less than 24 hours refund is not possible as tour can be rescheduled.
